Proximity Sensors (11727)

A line of inductive and capacitive proximity sensors for non-contact presence sensing of metallic and non-metallic objects features nickel-plated, stainless steel, and non-metallic cylindrical and rectangular housings rated Type 1, 2, 3, 3R, 4/4X, 6, 6P, 12, and 13. They are also rated IP67, making them suitable for the most severe industrial environments. Cylindrical housings are available in 4 to 30 mm diameters with shielded and unshielded constructions. For installation flexibility, the sensors are available with a 2-m cable or quick connect for fast installation and exchange. Two-, three-, and four-wire, 90 to 250 VAC, 10 to 30 VDC, and 24 to 240 VAC/VDC sensors with normally open, normally closed, complementary normally open and normally closed, and PNP or NPN outputs are easily integrated in almost every control system. The proximity sensors offer high switching frequency up to 3,000 Hz, maximizing production efficiency with targets moving at high speed. For troubleshooting and status monitoring, the devices include LED indicators. The sensors are certified in accordance with UL and CSA standards and are CE-marked for use and acceptance in global applications.
