Version 5 of Accolade product development software contains features tailored for companies in the food and beverage, paper products, and specialty chemical industries. Among these features are access to on-line resources to help assess product ideas, tools that serve to prioritize projects and align resources, and document routing and tracking features that comply with FDA regulation 21 CFR part 11 and other regulatory standards.

Other enhancements are said to automate the creation of key process deliverables, improve visibility of resource demands, and strengthen team productivity. Accolade works with Microsoft's Windows XP and NT 4.0 platforms as well as such applications as Microsoft's Office XP and Project Professional 2002.
