Pre-engineered Drives

The ACS550-PC (with circuit breakers) and the ACS550-PD (with disconnect and fuses) are the first of a new line of pre-engineered drive packages that come in space-saving cabinets with wiring in place. The use of fuses along with the switches or circuit breakers provides fault current limiting that can limit damage or ease repairs in case of short circuit or ground fault. Available in NEMA 1 and NEMA 12 with ratings up to 60 hp at 480 V and 30 hp at 240 V, they have compact and narrow packages for a small footprint, while control keypads on the enclosure covers make for easy programming and provide continuous display of three parameters. Parameters for a specific drive/application can be stored in the control panel and quickly downloaded to a replacement drive or another drive on a similar application. Field installation of additional components into the cabinets is simple and easy.
