Planetary Gearheads (12013)

Micron ValueTrue planetary gearheads can serve as replacements for most common helical gearheads. Operating with just 4 arc-mins of backlash, the gearheads are available in inline and right-angle configurations. Engineers can choose from eight frame sizes, ranging from 60 to 200 mm. Because the devices are RediMount-compliant, they can be mounted to any motor in three steps: align, mount, and tighten. The gearheads are said to be low cost, lubricated for life, and maintenance free. A stainless steel output housing ensures that the device can withstand harsh application environments.
