Photoetching Flat Parts

This line of photoetching flat parts features non-conductive washers, screens, and gaskets. Also including insulation layers and liners from polyimide film, the line is said to foster rapid design changes and offer low tooling costs. Photoetching enables etched bend lines on the parts for 3D forming. Engineers can choose from 0.001, 0.002, 0.003, and 0.005 in. Dupont KAPTON or other polyimide films. Corrosion-resistant polyimide exhibits enhanced physical, chemical, and electrical properties over a wide temperature range as well as some spring properties. The manufacturer produces prototypes for etching intricate parts from polyimide film.
