One-piece Shaft Coupling

The new Accu-Clamp coupling features a steel construction as standard, but is also available in aluminum and stainless steel. This one-piece device, which is said to be extremely precise and rigid in design, is built for applications that require an axial run-out of less than 0.001 TIR. Features include integrally machined, self-centering clamping collars at both ends. The Accu-Clamp coupling works to permit precise shaft alignment, eliminate the longitudinal slot, and provide close tolerance bore and keyway. Engineers can choose sizes ranging from 1/2 x 1/2 in. to 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 in. Priced from $34.95 to $49.95, the coupling is ideally suited for use in line shaft applications and in instruments requiring precise shaft alignment.
