A new system-on-module combines the high performance of a Transmeta TM5900 Crusoe processor with high reliability and extended temperature range. It can be used for deeply embedded industrial PC applications in harsh conditions, such as trains, planes, buses, and other transportation vehicles. Designated the EM05, the unit is a full PC on a 71 x 149 mm plug-in module that will run either Windows or Linux operating systems.
