Non-contacting Angular Position Sensor

The Series 7000 thin-profile, non-contacting angular position sensor is designed as a solution for motion control, rotary position, or steering angle sensing applications. The unit measures less than 8 mm in thickness without housing.

The Series 7000 features true 360-degree absolute rotary position feedback in a fully sealed package and offers multiple outputs with up to four functional output channels. The sensor can be factory programmed to give pulse width modulation, analog, saw tooth, or dual triangle outputs. Custom outputs are available.

Based on a phase shift principle, the sensor is not sensitive to input power fluctuations. It has only one moving part and mounts directly to a wide range of shaft configurations.

It is suitable for use in environments that have particle contamination and humidity concerns. Other features include self-diagnostics, low torque, and a sealed six-pin mating connector.
