Motor Medicine

At booth 1533, the quiet, low-vibration WOB-L Piston-design Model 2250 motor is set to help medical device manufacturers give medical motor a makeover. It has magnesium components that limit its weight to 2.5 lbs. A highly efficient brushless dc motor offers low power consumption for long battery life. The motor offers variable speed from 1,000 to 3,000 rpm, meaning the airflow can be steplessly varied according to a patient's need. In addition, an optional closed loop controller allows motor speed to be maintained at a pre-set, constant RPM regardless of load or voltage fluctuations.
