Motor And Driver

Engineered as a compact, powerful, and inexpensive motor with onboard electronics, the MDrive includes both a motor and a driver. It's designed to offer simplicity to the user. It provides off-the-shelf convenience without the additional cost of an indexer on each axis. The unit's integrated electronics eliminate the need to run the motor cabling through a machine.

The unit can reduce the potential for problems due to electrical noise. The use of cutting-edge polymer plastics provides compact heat shrinking that is molded with the motor. The unit has a microstepping drive and accepts up to 14 resolution settings from 1/2 to 256 microsteps per step. It uses a NEMA 23 frame size motor.
