The PS 80 variable-stroke ceramic piston pump is designed to offer exceptional accuracy and precise fluid delivery with a valveless, seal-less design. Featuring adjustable piston stroke, a stepper motor drive, and variable flow capabilities, it achieves flow accuracy of better than 1 percent. With both the ceramic piston and cylinder constructed from inert materials, it is compatible with a wide range of fluids.
Its design includes dual action, rotating/reciprocating ceramic pistons that eliminate the need for check valves and close clearance between the piston and cylinder, making dynamic piston seals unnecessary. The pump's pistons are actuated by a "glider-shoe" and can be precisely adjusted during operation to enhance the pump's accuracy in precision applications.
In addition, the PS 80 micro-dosing pump offers variable flows over the full micro-liter flow range that can be mutually adjusted with a 10-turn dial or through varied motor speed.
To ensure the most accurate flow possible when controlling the flow through the motor speed, the pump employs a zero-point Hall effect sensor and a stepper motor drive. The stepper motor drive is engineered to provide exceptional control and includes optional control accessories. Optimal performance is provided with flow from 5 to 80 l/stroke, speeds up to 300 rpm, and pressures to 5 bar.
