More Control Over Cad Design Projects

3-D mice can give CAD designers working in TurboCAD and TurboSketch Studio more control when creating technical drawings, mechanical designs and creative projects

3-D mice can give CAD designers working in TurboCAD and TurboSketch Studio more control when creating technical drawings, mechanical designs and creative projects

IMSI/Design’s TurboCAD® Deluxe 14, TurboCAD Pro 14 and TurboSketch™ Studio now support 3Dconnexion’s award-winning line of 3-D mice. These advanced 3-D mice are compatible with more than 120 of today’s most popular 3-D applications, including Autodesk® Maya®, Autodesk® 3ds Max®, Adobe® Photoshop® CS3 Extended, Cinema 4D, formZ and many more.

According to 3Dconnexion, this line of 3-D mice can give CAD designers working in TurboCAD and TurboSketch Studio more control when creating technical drawings, mechanical designs, creative projects, etc. These mice facilitate movement and control within the 3-D workspace. By simply moving the controller cap, CAD designers can simultaneously pan, zoom and rotate without stopping to select commands. A subtle increase or decrease in pressure accelerates or decelerates motion, enabling precise micro-adjustments.

In addition to support from TurboCAD® Deluxe 14, a 2- and 3-D CAD and drafting program, TurboCAD Pro 14, a 3-D solid modeling design program, and TurboSketch™ Studio, a plug-in powered by LightWorks® for creating photorealistic models using Google™ SketchUp®, IMSI/Design Co-Founder and CEO Robert Mayer says, “With support for 3Dconnexion’s line of 3-D mice, we are enabling our customers to enjoy an even better design experience within TurboCAD.”
