University Receives US$75 Million In-Kind Software Grant

Taipei City, Taiwan – Siemens PLM Software announces an in-kind software grant with a commercial value of US$75 million to National Taiwan University (NTU) in Taipei City, Taiwan.

  • The in-kind grant will be deployed for training courses to be available at NTU’s future Advanced Manufacturing Centre.
  • One thousand students and 150 teaching staff will benefit from this software.

Quest For Land Speed Record

Research Triangle Park, NC – Geomagic software has been selected by Team North American Eagle in its quest to set a new land speed record by reaching 800 mph. 

  • Project engineers will use Geomagic Studio software to digitally recreate the 56-foot-long Eagle vehicle for engineering analysis studies to obtain true performance characteristics.
