Membrane-switch Solutions

A line of custom-built membrane-switch solutions features illuminated controls and a tactile response. They can be designed and built with complete operator interfaces using technically-advanced, PC board-mounted Series 70 switches rather than conventional metal dome membrane switches. In addition, the Series 70 offers a long service life of up to five million operations. Series 70 switches are offered with bright, full-face LED illumination in a range of popular colors — including white. The new white LED’s can be used behind colored insertion strips which allow customers to change the configuration of the panels according to the end user application. These bright LED’s provide a clear indication of status even from a distance. Series 70 membrane solutions are suitable for applications ranging from instrumentation and machine tools to high-speed trains. The units provide a full solutions design service based on careful consideration of the operating environment and end user, — critical factors for membrane interfaces. The service includes electronic circuit and industrial design, front panel integration, custom marking and graphic design, color matching, and rigorous in-house testing to international standards. A comprehensive user solutions service is designed to ensure that complex HMI solutions are integrated seamlessly into engineering projects.
