Machine Simulation And Optimization Software

Vericut 5.4 CNC machine simulation and optimization software enables users to inspect, analyze, and document the CNC programming and machining process, while producing enhanced results and reducing cycle time. This CNC machine simulation, verification, and optimization software is designed to eliminate the need to manually prove NC programs, minimize scrap loss, and reduce rework. Its ability to optimize NC programs allows the software to produce efficient tool paths, thus, reducing time and producing high-quality surface finishes. The software supports G-codes and native CAM output to simulate milling, drilling, turning, wire EDM, and mill/turn machining options. Features include the ability to automatically detect gouges and excess material in design and a “compare by region” option, which allows users to check specific areas of a part without having to perform a full comparison. The software can create custom reports tailored meet a user’s specific needs. Automatically generated customizable documents, produced in standard HTML or PDF format, can be used for shop floor or in-process documentation, NC programming documentation, or to capture information generated in the VERICUT session. The software’s X-Caliper measurement feature produces inspection instructions based on the dimensions of the simulated cut stock and enables users to digitally verify the dimensional accuracy of their cut parts before loading the NC program on the CNC machine. The software also measures the distance between the cut stock and the "virtually embedded" design model. An enhanced ability to analyze cutting conditions and the software’s Cutting Graph feature provide feed per minute, feed per tooth, feed per revolution, spindle speed, surface speed, volume removal rate, chip thickness, depth of cut, and width of cut. Furthermore, the software includes enhanced optimization features designed for milling hard materials. These options help VERICUT better determine ideal feed rates for hostile cutting conditions. The software supports simulating tool chains and runs on both Windows and UNIX platforms.
