The Series 84 line of low-profile switches and indicators is ideal for commercial and industrial applications where space is limited. Said to be durable in construction, these devices feature a minimally low back-of-panel depth just 2.0 mm above the front panel. Series 84 switches and indicators offer sealing ratings of IP67 (NEMA 4&13) standards, making them suitable for use in hazardous environments where dust and moisture are prevalent. The devices mount flush to a panel via a 22.5-mm mounting hole. Lenses are available in anodized aluminum with illumination windows or with plastic surrounds. Single or multi-chip LEDs ensure high visibility. Engineers can choose blue, white, red, yellow, or green lenses and LEDs. Connection is achieved either by a 300-mm ribbon cable or plug-in terminals. A short-travel switching system with two independent contact points ensures tactile operation and reliable switching under light loads.
