Load Cells With Built-in Overload Protection

Model L2357 Series load cells, also known as S-beam Jr., are compact and light "S" or "S"-beam load cells that offer high accuracy in linearity. Built-in overload protection is up to 10 times the rated output on all ranges in both tension and compression. Bridge resistance is 350.

Available capacity ranges from 100 g to 100 lb. The units are available in a package size of 0.75 x 0.63 x 0.25 in. or less. Weight averages 6 oz. The operating temperature range is -60° to +200°F, with non-linearity of less than ± 0.1 percent full scale. The sensing element can be aluminum or stainless steel, depending on capacity.

The load cells are designed for both end-user and high-volume OEM applications. Some application areas include general-purpose inline load cells, pin insertion force sensing and control, robotics, weight control systems, medical bag hanging applications, fiber textile tensioning control, and fine powder process control.
