The DQ is billed as a tiny but powerful latching relay. It measures 38 mm (1.4696 in.) long, 17.3 mm (0.681 in.) high, and 29 mm (1.142 in.) wide. Either one or two coil latching is available.

The DQ is designed with a high insulation distance of at least 8 mm. Contact arrangement is 1 Form A.

The relay is both cadmium- and lead-free and is UL, CSA, and VDE approved.

Applications include time-switched electric water heaters and remote-controlled electric power meters.
