The DMW Series inverter is designed to provide closed loop current control over a wide input voltage range (8-18 Vdc), monitoring lamp current to maintain consistent brightness regardless of any variation in input voltage.

Designed for LCDs backlit by two cold cathode fluorescent lamps, the DMW Series inverter, which costs$19.85 in production quantities, provides combined power of up to 16 W. It is suitable for applications run from an unregulated input voltage source or power supply, such as battery-powered equipment.

Features include onboard PWM dimming, soft start lamp ignition, open lamp detection and shut down, and direct connection to the display.
