The annual Congress on the Future of Engineering Software (COFES)

COFES 2008 attendees will gather to discuss current issues and debate future challenges related to the engineering software and technology industry.

Cyon Research Corporation, hosts of the annual Congress on the Future of Engineering Software (COFES), has opened registration for next year’s event, COFES 2008. The ninth annual CAD and engineering technology event is scheduled to take place April 10 to 13, 2008 in Scottsdale, AZ.

“The COFES event offers a unique opportunity for CAD/CAM industry professionals to become intimately familiar with the ideas of the brightest thinkers in the industry through one-on-one interactions and small discussion groups," says Keith Mountain, president and chief executive officer with Spatial. “Spatial has benefited from many long-lasting relationships that were formed at COFES."

The theme for COFES 2008 is “Pay it Forward: Innovation and Sustainability for Design and Engineering."

Last year, more than 270 professionals including software company executives, engineers, programmers and consultants, attended the event.

Attendees gather to discuss current issues and debate future challenges related to the engineering software and technology industry.

Registration for COFES 2008 is available by invitation only, according to Cyon Research CEO Brad Holtz.

Those who wish to attend can apply for an invitation at http://apply.cofes.com.

Registration closes January 31, with late registration beginning February 1.
