Hot-swappable Front-end

As an addition to the PowerCassette family of 1U front ends, the TPCG is a 450-wtt version available in three output voltages of 12,24, and 48 Vdc. These units are housed in ultra-compact cases. They are available as either chassis mount of hot swappable versions. A compatible 19-in. rack is available to house up to three units. The supplies may also be operated in a 2+1 redundant mode, and have output O-ring diodes that result in glitch-free, hot-swappable operation to provide continuous power to the load. Other operating features include universal 85 to 264 Vac input voltage range, power factor correction, and a Class B EMI filter. The units have an auxiliary +5Vdc, 250-mA output, and integral LED status indicator, active current sharing, and no minimum load requirement. Price is $225 in volume.
