A new line of AMPMODU horizontal and vertical receptacles has a 0.1-centerline and mates with unshrouded and breakaway style headers. The line is available in several varieties and includes single- and double-row arrangements to meet most motherboard/daughterboard applications. The receptacles are suitable for several board-to-board applications in industrial and commercial electronics, aerospace, computers, communications, and other electronic devices. The horizontal versions include a Mod II, through-hole product with closed entry housings and a surface mount product also with closed entry housings. Employing a dual-cantilever beam contact design, the single-contact current rating is up to 3 A. Fully energized connectors are capable of carrying up to 2 A. Mating cycle life for the product is rated at up to 200 cycles. The units are recognized by UL and certified by CSA. The horizontal and vertical receptacles are RoHS compliant.
