High-performance Plastic Bearings

Plastic clip-type and double spherical bearings are the latest additions to the igubal system of oil-free, self-aligning bearings, which are touted for their easy installation as well as their ability to adapt to angular deviations. In many cases, they obviate the need for special housings.

Igubal clips, which feature a spherical, thin-wall design that needs no additional axial fastener, target sheet metal products such as office equipment, where imprecise forming can cause misalignment problems.

The small and lightweight double spherical bearings, suited for automotive, packaging, and medical industries, have one end that is rotated 90 degrees. They can be installed with one hand and come in custom dimensions with and without a pin.

Members of the igubal line are 80 percent lighter than steel and self-lubricating. They also resist vibration, dirt, chemicals, corrosion, water, and dust.
