High-flow Solenoid Valve

A new generation of high-flow solenoid valves incorporates a coil that can be fitted or replaced without tools. Called the 8241, the compact valve features a captive, click-on stainless steel spring clip that can be unlatched manually to exchange coils to accommodate different voltage requirements. The spring clip is attached to the valve cover with a fastener, and the coil can be oriented in any direction within a 360-degree plane. The valve is waterhammer-free, boasts low power consumption, and utilizes the same body with either ac or dc coils.
