High-current Shielded Inductors

The HM70 Series of surface-mount, shielded inductors are rated up to 180°C and are well suited for tight board layouts in power supplies, DC/DC converters, and modules. These high-current devices are designed for applications that require high wattage levels but only have minimal space available. The inductors offer a maximum operating frequency of 1 mHz and an operating temperature range of -40° to +180°F. Engineers can choose from 400- or 500-unit, 13-in. diameter embossed tape and reel packages. The devices feature a proprietary core material said to enhance the power capability and minimize core losses at high operating frequencies. HM70 inductors are priced at 0.67 each in quantities of 10,000.
