Helical Geared Motors

Providing power from 0.075 to 50 hp, three-phase BK Series helical gear motors offer output speeds of 0.3 to 230 rpm and a torque range of 650 to 163,700 lbf-in. The motors can be installed via a variety of methods, including foot or flange with single- or double-output shaft, shaft mounting with hollow shaft in keyed, or space-saving shrink disk version with torque arm. Robust and durable in design, the series features insulated enameled copper wire stator windings. Additional features include aluminum die cast cage rotors and gear wheels made with high tensile and case-hard steal. The units’ gearbox housings are completely sealed to ensure reliable operation in harsh environments. This design protects against dust and water spray and prevents lubricant loss and dirt buildup. The motor enclosures are IP65 rated as standard. However, IP66 protection is also available.
