Heavy-duty Linear Actuators

Designed to handle extremely heavy loads in medical and industrial applications, members of the Runner series of linear actuators are said to run quietly with minimal vibration. Long service life, specialized safety and maintenance features, high push-pull force, and the ability to lift up to 12 kN are also touted. Models R20, R21, and R22 operate at full-load speeds of 4.5 mm/sec. to 7.5 mm/sec. Stroke lengths range from 100 mm to 700 mm.

Safety features include a first-failure-safe control unit for operating up to three actuators. The control unit can be operated standalone or mounted directly on the actuator. Other safeguards are a safety nut, limit switches, jack-and-plug connections, and a stroke length safety factor of four. A cycle counter keeps track of operation for maintenance intervals.

The Runner system is compatible with Telemag telescopic lifting columns for raising and lowering medical equipment or industrial devices with large offset loads.
