Four-channel Pci Frame Grabber

PC_EYE_2+ quadro-channel and RGB color frame grabbers are designed for industrial and medical PCIbus imaging applications.

The board features four video input channels that can digitize four separate images in parallel from synchronized cameras, with parallel acquisition into RAM and graphics, as well as an onboard sync generator and restart-reset capability. Drives are provided for Windows 98, ME, NT, and 2000 with a setup program that supports test and configuration of the board. The unit performs real-time acquisition of images or image sequences directly into main memory. In quadro mode, it stores the four images in separate memory regions as separate monochrome images. The onboard sync generator, with four 75-ohm outputs, simplifies synchronization of the cameras. Four independent A/D converters digitize data with 8-bit resolution each at rates of 5-32 MHz, and each converter can sample data from four input ports. Other features include opto-isolated trigger inputs with additional outputs used to trigger cameras or strobe lights and support for several third-party imaging tools under Windows. Cameras with reset/restart features are supported as well as pixel clock input to the frame grabber for sub-pixel accuracy.

Pricing in single-unit quantities is $882.
