Automation Studio™ Version 5.6, produced by Famic Technologies, is a flexible design and simulation software solution that enables engineers to diagnose, troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical control systems. Designed to validate projects, as well as detect flaws on fluid power systems, the software is ideal for those who want to reduce the troubleshooting process, minimize downtime and lessen replacement charges.

According to the company, Version 5.6:

  • Makes it simple to draw schematics—components are dragged and dropped on the workspace from extensive symbol libraries; then different elements are connected to create complex, multi-technology projects.
  • Includes detailed libraries from OEMs like Bosch Rexroth, Eaton, HydraForce, Kawasaki, Parker, Poclain, Sauer-Danfoss and many others.
  • Animates components through simulation—lines are displayed in different colors according to their state.
  • Precisely monitors variables like pressure, flow, torque, position, speed, force, etc. by using a plotter and inserting measuring instruments.
  • Easily imitates realistic scenarios; for example, loads can be applied to different components, and users can select which element to monitor.
  • Allows behavior modeling of any circuit based on allocated parameters — users can study component behavior and reaction; modify dimensions and sizes; and compare performances via simulation.
  • Can increase machine operation understanding, as well as improve diagnostic and troubleshooting skills of personnel.
  • Provides a user-friendly environment with intuitive editing, evaluation and reporting tools.
According to the company, Version 5.6  has evolved into performing multimedia software. Audio files with extension WAV can be associated to human machine interfaces, and users can insert vocal comments directly synchronized to a simulation. Furthermore, hyperlinks allows the launching of external PRX files to facilitate knowledge transfer, demonstration or other visualization objectives, such as multilingual training documents.
