Enhanced Automated CAD Data Transformation
Anark Core 1.1 offers enhancements to the automated CAD data transformation software system

Anark Core 1.1 includes memory-performance enhancements, enabling larger CAD assemblies and parts to be transformed within the Anark Core Workstation and Server.

Anark Corp. recently announced the latest release of the Anark Core™ Platform. According to the company, Anark Core 1.1 offers several enhancements to the automated CAD data transformation software system, including direct support for three industry-leading 3-D data-exchange and visualization formats: VRML, X3D and Autodesk® DWF™.

The newly added formats expand upon a growing menu of high-precision, lightweight 3-D CAD and visualization formats supported by the software. VRML and X3D are recognized by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) as open 3-D graphics formats for a wide array of data exchange and visualization applications.

The Autodesk DWF format was added to allow users to easily export transformed 3-D CAD data from Anark Core for use within Autodesk Design Review and Freewheel™. Autodesk's Design Review is software for viewing, printing, measuring, marking up, and annotating 2-D and 3-D designs, while Freewheel is a free web service for viewing and sharing 2-D and 3-D designs.

According to the company, Anark Core 1.1 also includes memory-performance enhancements, enabling larger CAD assemblies and parts to be transformed within the Anark Core Workstation and Server. This also aids in the translation of product design data into information intended for exchange, collaboration and visualization processes.
