The NI BNC-2096 is a front-end transducer electronic data sheet (TEDS) interface accessory for NI 4472 and SCXI-1530/1531 modules. The NI BNC-2096 interfaces directly with IEEE P 1451.4 sensors (smart TEDS sensors), which deliver improved system configuration and diagnostics, reduced downtime, and better sensor data management for customers. By using TEDS smart sensors, users can achieve easier setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer-based measurement and automation systems. In addition, users can cascade several BNC-2096 accessories for high-channel-count applications.
