Design Workshops: Emi Control And Complex Antenna/rf Systems

Simulation-based design methodology engineers can use to prevent EMI early in the design phase

The fundamentals of EMI

Ansoft Corp. is set to offer EMI Control & Antenna/RF Design Workshops.

During these workshops, Ansoft will present a simulation-based design methodology that engineers can use to prevent EMI early in the design phase, and analyze complex RF and antenna systems.

Additional topics will include:

  • The fundamentals of EMI.
  • Quantifying and visualizing the impact on near and far fields by exciting plane resonances via transitions.
  • PCB radiated emissions linked with enclosure.
  • Complex antenna system design.
  • Left-handed metamaterials for microwave engineering applications.
  • Designing electronic systems and vehicles to survive lightning and electromagnetic propagation effects.

Upcoming locations and tour dates include:

  • January 16, 2008: The Colorado Springs Marriott, Colorado Springs, CO
  • January 18, 2008: Omni Interlocken Resort, Broomfield, CO
  • February 5, 2008: The Tempe Mission Palms Hotel, Tempe, AZ
  • February 12, 2008: The Grand America Hotel, Salt Lake City, UT
  • February 14, 2008: Marriott Tucson University Park Hotel, Tucson, AZ
