Critical Control Technology Solutions Expanded & Enhanced

Vancouver, BC, Canada– Wurldtech Security Technologies announces that Invensys Process Systems (IPS) has selected the award-winning Achilles Satellite to enhance internal robustness testing best practices for their Ethernet-enabled safety and critical control solutions, demonstrating commitment to providing clients with secure and reliable control technology.

"Proactive security and robustness testing, which is an important aspect of our product development process, enables us to continuously improve the overall safety and reliability of our Foxboro and Triconex critical control solutions," says Ernie Rakaczky, Principal Security Architect for IPS.

"We have come to rely on Wurldtech’s technology and cyber-risk expertise to help us diagnose cyber vulnerabilities and to continually test for new cyber threats during product development."

IPS solutions help minimize downtime and improve the overall security, availability and integrity of global critical infrastructure.

By integrating Achilles into established product development processes, IPS is reducing business risk for their clients by proactively identifying and remediating vulnerabilities in safety and critical control systems before they are deployed in real-time, high-availability environments.

"By utilizing Achilles technology, which is globally recognized as the leading robustness testing platform in the market, we are fully confident that our innovative solutions meet the level of safety and reliability our global clients demand and deserve," Rakaczky says.

Developed specifically to address cyber security challenges unique to the industrial automation industry, Achilles diagnoses known and unknown vulnerabilities in SCADA and process control systems.

"Global manufacturers of industrial control systems are continually looking for solutions to improve the security posture of their products and are rapidly adopting expert cyber security testing as a crucial component of the development lifecycle," says Tyler Williams, CEO and President of Wurldtech Security Technologies.

"We are pleased to add IPS to our growing list of customers who have selected the Achilles platform to proactively diagnose and remediate cyber-risk from design through deployment."
