Connectors For Robotics And Nuclear Applications

N Series Connectors feature new shell styles and additional features in size 5 for robotics and nuclear applications. Largely constructed of stainless steel, N Series connectors are well suited for environments that require a robot, or telemanipulator, to make connections. N series connectors have features to accommodate both low-power and high-power telemanipulators. For example, the series provides a unique lever to reduce the mating force of connections when small and low-power robots are used. The 5N connector features wider grip areas and 90-degree shells. For environments with many connections, the connector’s key system allows users to configure and change to 32 unique combinations. These features are intended to simplify remote connection and ensure no-turn, push-pull, and visually assured connections.
