Scapa North America now offers 2 acrylic transfer adhesives designed for sound attenuation, vibration dampening, rubber extrusion mounting and general product assembly applications. According to the company, the Ultrafilm™ 6300-001 and Ultrafilm™ 6500-001 also provide:?Bonding to surfaces including: ether and ester foams, rubbers, metals and engineered plastics. ?Resistance to heat, chemicals and plasticizers.?Long-term aging properties and the ability to withstand extreme environments.?A 4-mil white HDPE liner.?A 3-mil (0.076-mm) thick acrylic adhesive used in the Ultrafilm 6300-001.?A 5-mil (0.127-mm) adhesive thickness for the Ultrafilm 6500-001.?High initial wet-out with peel, tack and quick-stick properties.?Anchorage to foams used in demanding environments.www.scapana.com
