Bolt-on Temperature Sensors

A series of bolt-on temperature sensors features a rugged, easy to install and remove design for a wide range of applications.

The compact size allows mounting in limited space, and the rugged lead-wire connections prevent damage during handling, installation, and operation. Four models with through holes and two models with threaded bolt designs are available for monitoring equipment in place, testing thermal characteristics of new designs, or additional thermal monitoring for existing production machines. Platinum and nickel RTD elements with temperature ranges up to 550°C are available to match existing instruments. The 100 ohms at 0°C platinum element meets the IEC751 international standard, and the 1,000 ohms at 0°C platinum RTD provides greater sensitivity. Models with 100 ohms at 0°C platinum elements and 100 ohms at 0°C nickel elements are also available. Two-wire construction allows use with 4-20 mA transmitters, and the three-wire design compensates for leadwire resistance. Customized configurations are also available.
