Air Nozzle For Cooling/drying Applications

Priced at $43, the 2-in Super Air Nozzle is a flat air nozzle that uses patented technology to maximize entrained airflow and force while reducing compressed air use and noise. The flat airstream is suitable for blowoff, cooling, and drying applications. The Super Air Nozzle has a 0.015-in. air gap opening that is set with a stainless steel shim positioned between the body and removable cap. A precise amount of air is released through the thin slot, across a flat surface. The result is a wide, forceful stream of high velocity, laminar airflow. Air consumption is 21.8 scfm at 80 psig with a noise level of 77 dBA and force of 22 ounces when mounted 12 in. from the target. Force can be increased or decreased by installing different shim thicknesses. An optional stay set flexible hose for frequent repositioning keeps the airflow aimed at the target until physically moved. The unit has a zinc aluminum alloy construction suited for rugged industrial applications. The airflow that exits the nozzle can not be blocked and meets OSHA standards 29 CFR 1910.95(a) and 1910.242(b). Applications include parts cleaning, chip removal, part drying, part ejection, liquid blowoff, and cooling hot parts.
