A Guide To "vibration Monitoring Instrumentation"

The IMI Sensors division of PCB Piezotronics (PCB®) has released a comprehensive brochure, highlighting its latest offerings in accelerometers, vibration transmitters, switches, meters, cables, connectors and accessories for machinery condition monitoring and predictive maintenance.

Sensors for permanent installation and detailed analysis and diagnostics are featured, as well as loop-powered 4-20 mA transmitters, for interface to existing PLC, alarm, Plant Information (PI) and SCADA systems.

Also included:

  • Models which offer low-cost; high frequency (to 30k Hz, even with a magnet); or high-temperature (to +900 °F).
  • New industry exclusive products, such as Model 621B40 high frequency sensor for turbomachinery.
  • Model 699A02 1g handheld shaker, for verification of sensor performance right at the machine.
  • Patented Bearing Fault Detector and Reciprocating Machinery Protector.
  • Series 686B USB programmable smart vibration switch, which offers a drop-in replacement for unreliable mechanical switches.
