A Feature Cornucopia In Updated Bluetooth Design

Headset integrates state-of-the-art technology and features with the latest innovative audio design.

Pittsburgh, PA-based developer and manufacturer of wireless Bluetooth® devices for the consumer electronics market Cardo System recently introduced the S-800™, the first among the company’s next generation of Bluetooth® wireless headsets for mobile phones.

S-800 Headset

The S-800 features a Cambridge Silicone Radio (CSR) chip and a rechargeable Li-Po battery.

The headset’s high-end features and crafted casing, dubbed Precision DesignTM, reflect the merging between state-of-the-art technology, wrapped inside a corresponding high-end shape and finish. The new S-800™ offers a synthesis between cutting-edge engineering and style. Designed for extensive wear and use, the unit can be worn in-the-ear or with an over-the-ear loop.

Despite its small size, the S-800™ offers up to eight hours talk-time and one week of standby time. The headset’s superb acoustic technology, noise suppression solutions and high-end speaker provides superior audio performance—users can operate the headset at a distance of up to 10 m (30 ft) from the mobile phone. Among its features, the S-800™ offers Hot-Dialing, allowing users to store and speed-dial up to three different numbers with one simple click of a dedicated button.

The S-800™ offers SWAP technology to switch the headset’s connection between two mobile phones and a Headset Location Buzzer ensures that the unit will never get lost.

The headset also offers:

  • A Battery Status Indicator.
  • A Missed Call Indicator.
  • A one-touch Call Back button.
  • An optional Auto Answer mode.
  • A Conference Call feature.
  • Voice Dialing capabilities.
  • A Digital Key-Lock.
  • An optional LED Extinction.
  • Button Customization for left handed users.
  • A large control button that offers intuitive access to answering, terminating and rejecting calls.
The new unit is packed with advanced functionality while keeping the weight at just 10.9 g (0.38 oz) and supports handsfree and headset profiles.
